Tell No One by Harlan Coben

Tell No One by Harlan Coben is a standalone thriller.

Dr David beck’s wife was murdered 8 years ago by a brutal serial killer, but is this really the case? Suddenly David receives emails that turn his life upside down; is his wife alive or is someone fooling around? David finds himself ‘befriending’ Tyrese and others on the wrong side of the law who help him when the police are chasing him and he faces an opponent called Eric Wu who has deadly hands that cause immense damage and pain.

I thought this was a fantastic thriller, and if it had not been for life getting in the way, I would most definitely have read this in one sitting. Why are people starting to die around David Beck and why is he a major suspect? Who is Eric Wu, ‘Bruce Lee on Speed’ is how he is described in the book I believe, working for? So many questions and lots of twists and turns along the way. I think Harlan has some excellent characters in this book: Eric Wu of course, Tyrese the gangster, Shauna & her lover Linda who is David’s sister and Hoyt, Elizabeth’s dad. It feels such an effortless book and flows exceedingly well with a great ending!

I would recommend this to all, even if you’ve not tried a thriller before – start here! EXCELLENT!
