Kiss The Girls by James Patterson

This is the second outing for Alex Cross.

This found Alex on the hunt for 2 ruthless killers of young beautiful, intelligent women: The Gentleman Caller and Casanova. Are they the same person although they’re striking in different areas and have different styles? When Alex’s niece, Naomi, is taken Alex treats this case as very personal and it leads him on an eventful chase with partner Sampson.

I enjoyed this book and found it very readable, although in a few areas it certainly had me feeling a little uncomfortable. It’s well paced and keeps flowing, although we didn’t find out as much about Alex Cross in this book as I expected too. Alex is still facing demons concerning the death of his wife and is scared of fostering new relationships, but I don’t feel we learnt much new.

I would recommend this book to all thriller and crime novel fans especially if they like an easy read.
